What I actually mean by 'Oriental', grebo, is best expressed by the adjective 'Far Eastern'. But that term is so dated I doubted most people would get my drift. And it's even more prolematic since the clip itself was produced by French-speakers who probably live in Europe. (I should have just called it a Chinese style and been done with it. ;)
Asian is too broad, IMO. After all, I could use 'Asian' to refer to Irani art as well as to Chinese art.
I appreciate that people now think of 'Oriental' as an adjective only used by Occidentals, but political correctness aside I think its meaning is still clear.
Glad you liked it, tho'. It's an extremely well-done piece of work by any name.
