Talking meat
This sci-fi animation is pretty well done despite the unusual dialog. But it's a little frustrating because I know I've read this story and I can't remember its title or author.

The original Science Fiction short was "They're Made Out of Meat" From the collection "Bears Discover Fire and Other Stories" by Terry Bisson. E-book at http://www.electricstory.com/stories/story.aspx?title=meat/meat
Authors website at http://www.terrybisson.com/ where he mentions that "Stephen O'Regan's film of my short story won Grand Prize at the Science Fiction Museum's SF Short Film Festival in Seattle in 2006." But, while this clip certainly follows the same script, it doesn't appear to be the Stephen O'Regan film.
