UPDATED: 5:37 pm EST November 27, 2007ORLANDO, Fla. -- A man walked in to an Orange County bank with luggage Tuesday and demanded that he be taken to India. That request led to a strange standoff that lasted hours at the Wachovia Bank off Orange Blossom Trail near Sand Lake Road.
The man, later arrested, is an Indian citizen and he even had his passport on him. Investigators don't know why he wanted to go back to India or why he thought he thought he could get there by walking into a bank, but deputies had to use a little deception to get him out.
