Nokopo joey
Here's a double-barreled dose of cute: two tree kangaroos in one picture, courtesy of the Post-Dispatch.
Baby kangaroo joey peeks out of mother's pouch at St. Louis ZooST. LOUIS -- She was born the size of a lima bean six months ago.
Now the little kangaroo joey is about the size of a small cat -- and starting to make herself a little more visible at the St. Louis Zoo.
The Zoo issued a press release Friday to gush about Nokopo, a female Matschie's tree kangaroo joey.
Nokopo, or "Noko" for short, has begun poking her head out from within her mother's pouch at the Emerson Children's Zoo at the Saint Louis Zoo.
