Glendale Man Tries to Remove Hernia Using Butter KnifeGLENDALE, Calif. (KTLA) -- A Glendale man is hospitalized in stable condition after police say he tried to perform surgery on himself -- using a butter knife!
The 63 year-old man, whose name is not being released, was trying to remove a protruding hernia from his stomach using a six inch butter knife, Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz tells KTLA.
